Vancouver, British Columbia – (January 26, 2018) THC BioMed Intl Ltd. (CSE: THC), (“THC” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that the Company closed a private placement, under its previously announced investment agreement, with Alumina Partners (Ontario) Ltd. (“Alumina”).

On January 24, 2018, the Company issued to Alumina 631,313 units (“Units”) at a price of $1.584 per Unit, for total proceeds of $1,000,000. Each unit consists of one common share and one common share purchase warrant. Each warrant entitles the holder to purchase one common share of the Company for a period of 36 months from closing at a price of $2.48 per share.

The proceeds of this private placement will be used to fund ongoing applications to provincial governments to operate licensed dispensaries for legal marihuana, the expansion of the Company’s business and facilities, and general working capital.

This brings the total raised through the Alumina private placements to $4,700,000.
